Rite Aid will shut at least two NJ stores as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy, with 1,000+ closures and 1,122 layoffs on the horizon.
A Rite Aid store in Dauphin County is on the company’s latest list of locations that are closing. The Rite Aid store at 1941 Derry St. in Harrisburg is one of 68 stores the company is closing, Rite Aid said in a bankruptcy filing on Friday. More than 40 of the stores on the latest list are in Pennsylvania.
