If history is any guide, Alex Bregman will miss approximately two months because of the right quad strain he sustained on Friday. Bregman said the injury was similar to the left quad strain he had in 2021. That injury kept him out the Houston lineup for nearly 10 weeks.

Update: Manager Alex Cora said the MRI revealed a “significant injury” to Alex Bregman’s right quad. Cora described it as being similar to the quad injury Bregman had in 2021 when he missed from June 17-Aug. 25 on the injured list.
