ATLANTA — One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in northwest Atlanta on Sunday evening. Officers responded to a shooting at the 1900 block of Jones Avenue just before 10 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were rushed to the hospital where one of them died, police say.

ATLANTA — Investigators are looking into a case where an 18-year-old was shot and killed in Atlanta Friday evening. Atlanta Police said around 5:45 p.m. on June 6, officers went to the 400 block of Fairlock Lane NW to respond to a person shot. The area is not far from Collier Park.
