Mystics rookie Sonia Citron outshines Paige Bueckers with a stronger all-around performance, boosting her Rookie of the Year case

Citron scored 18 points, provided six assists and hauled in five rebounds as the Mystics remained in the playoff hunt with a 91-78 win over the Wings. Citron, selected two spots behind Bueckers in April's draft, outdueled her Dallas counterpart, who mustered 17 points, three assists and two steals after missing the previous game with a back injury.

This is because rookie Paige Bueckers (who finished with 17 points on Sunday) is already considered one of the league's elite guards, while the Mystics have several standout rookies who have been extremely impressive thus far.
