Dallas Cowboys All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons is a man of his word. Despite his on-going contract dispute, the four-time Pro Bowler showed up to the first practice of Dallas' mandatory minicamp on Tuesday after he promised he would do just that.

Parsons is an infrequent visitor to the voluntary offseason workouts, though Schottenheimer asked him to attend the first voluntary session in the spring, which he did. Parsons showed up again Tuesday and didn’t work out because of a tight back, a result of working out with, yes, Diggs, his close friend.

The Dallas Cowboys and Micah Parsons have yet to make any progress on a contract extension for the defensive star, but that has not stopped him from maintaining a presence around The Star as the team gets underway with mandatory minicamp.
