While searching for the next pop culture star, Sunday night’s episode of “American Idol” helped honor some musicians who have already reached icon status. During a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-themed round of the singing competition, “Idol” host Ryan Seacrest announced the legendary institution’s 2025 inductees.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will make fans of some long-neglected acts very happy when the class of 2025 is inducted later this year.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2025 inductees were announced Sunday during a live, Rock Hall-themed American Idol episode mentored by James Taylor, and while the Performer category includes six artists that Gold Derby predicted correctly,
