A man was fatally shot inside a 7-Eleven in Lawndale, California, on Sunday night. The shooting followed an altercation, and two men were seen fleeing the scene. Authorities are investigating and urge anyone with information to contact the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. on Sunday at a 7-Eleven store in the 15800 block of Prairie Avenue, according to LA County deputies.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 35-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a hit-and-run crash, local officials said. The crash happened on Saturday at about 2:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of S. Cicero Avenue, Chicago police said. Police said the victim was outside when he was struck by a black sedan.
