White House border czar Tom Homan tells Meet the Press that the ICE officer who shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis did “the right thing to save his own life and life of others.”

Sen. Tina Smith (D-Minn.) said Sunday the Trump administration is orchestrating a cover-up of the events surrounding the fatal shooting of Renee Good last week.

Minneapolis is the latest Democrat-run city to see an influx of federal agents as part of Trump's immigration enforcement efforts.

Federal authorities have started taking agitators into custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent there on Wednesday. The Trump administration said she used her car to try to run over federal officers during an immigration enforcement operation.

Within hours of an ICE officer shooting and killing a woman, social media users misidentified the agent who fired as Steve Grove.

The footage, apparently captured by the agent’s cellphone, shows pivotal moments before, during and after their deadly encounter.
