American gymnastics icon Mary Lou Retton entered a no contest plea to driving under the influence stemming from a May traffic stop in her hometown of Fairmont, West Virginia.

U.S. gymnastics icon Mary Lou Retton pleaded no contest on Tuesday to a DUI charge. 'I am determined to learn and grow from this experience,' the five-time Olympic medalist said.

I take full responsibility for my actions,’ the U.S. gymnastics legend said in a statement about her May 17 arrest.
