(CNN) – Rite Aid says it will close several dozen more stores amid Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. In a May 9 bankruptcy court filing, the pharmacy chain said 68 additional locations will shutter.

In addition to losing a place for people to fill prescriptions, the mayor says the Rite Aid closure impacts the employees and the borough's efforts to rebuild its downtown corridor.
