For many years—long before a developed campground existed on the east side—park visitors enjoyed dispersed camping along nearly two miles of beachfront. When the campground was built in the late 80s, that experience was no longer available. With the development of our new Sage Springs Campground, we wanted to bring a piece of that tradition back.
