How do you get a a whale into a museum? 🤔🐋 In 1981, the weathered and fragile bones of a Pygmy Blue Whale were discovered on the coast near Cape Hotham, northeast of Darwin. In 1991, the bones were put on display at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, and then taken down again in 1999 to revitalise and reinstate the skeleton.
