Hemp Habitat is the result of Luke Wrencher’s vision for eco-friendly building and artistic expression. This off-grid home showcases innovative hempcrete, combining 65 tonnes of reclaimed hemp with a unique lime binder for eco-friendly construction. The project creatively utilises camphor laurel, milled on-site, transforming this once-overlooked timber into essential elements of the dwelling, from framing to furniture. Throughout the space, reclaimed hardwood trusses and antique European pine cr
