Lake District Road Trip 🚗🏞️ day 2 We camped at Castlerigg farm on night 1 then drove through Keswick and up Newlands pass… there’s an awesome waterfall up there too! Then down in to Buttermere (gets extremely busy) not much parking… Hiked up to Wharnscale Bothy which is just incredible and down the hill in front to see amazing waterfalls and the Buttermere infinity pool! Finished off the night camping at Sykes farm campsite with the most spectacular view 👍🏞️🥾 #roadtrip #lakedistrict #hiking

You can make this journey you’re own but here’s some ideas! Day 1 activities: -Stanley Ghyll waterfall -Hike along the river Esk to find more waterfalls -Drive over Hardknott and Wrynose pass (confident drivers with smallish vehicles) -visit cathedral cave and slater bridge -drive through Langdales, Ambleside, Grasmere, -hike up Raven
