Here are our little Ossabaw Island pigs. This is one of three pig breeds in America that are so rare they merit a 'Critical' designation from the Livestock Conservancy. (The other Critical breeds are the Mulefoot and Choctaw.) These are animals descended from stock brought to America by Spaniards more than 500 years ago.
